Anticipation is building for the 2025 Yamaha R3 in India, fueled by leaked design patents. While Yamaha Motor India has yet to confirm details, the patent images suggest the Indian model will match the global version, which features key performance upgrades and improved aerodynamics. Inspired by Yamaha’s flagship supersport motorcycle, the new R3 boasts a more aggressive design, sharper lines, and an aerodynamic fairing for enhanced performance. This refined look hints at a high-performance machine built for speed and control, making it ideal for enthusiasts. The leak has sparked curiosity, with riders eagerly awaiting Yamaha’s official announcement, including specifications, price in India, and an official launch date for this much-anticipated sportbike.

2025 Yamaha YZF-R3: Details
The 2025 Yamaha R3 offers a bold new look with a projector headlamp and quad-element LED DRLs, enhancing both visibility and style. LED turn signals add a modern touch while improving safety. The sculpted fuel tank, full fairing, and sleek tail section give the bike an aggressive yet aerodynamic profile, perfect for sportbike enthusiasts.

Yamaha is offering the R3 in multiple colours, including Matte Stealth Black, Team Yamaha Blue, and Lunar White with Nebula Blue (exclusive to the US market). The bike also comes with advanced features, such as a fully digital instrument cluster with connectivity and a USB charging port for added convenience.
At its heart, the 2025 Yamaha R3 runs on a 321cc liquid-cooled inline twin-cylinder engine, shared with the MT-03. It produces 41bhp and 30Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed gearbox featuring a slip-and-assist clutch for smoother performance.
