The wait is almost over for Indian Triumph fans! The 2025 Speed Twin 900, unveiled globally in October, is set to launch here soon, as confirmed by a recent teaser on social media. After the makeover, the 2025 edition looks sportier and more in sync with the sleeker design language of its larger sibling, the Speed Twin 1200. It has a compact LED headlamp with a sleek DRL, a sturdy fuel tank with sculpted side panels, streamlined engine casings, shorter fenders, and exhaust pipes. As for the colours, Triumph offers the revised Speed Twin 900 with three captivating options: Pure White with orange and blue stripes, Phantom Black with dark grey stripes and gold highlights, and Aluminium Silver with a touch of red accentuating the Triumph logo. Read on to find out what more features the updated model has in store.

2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900: What’s New?

The most significant enhancements are found in the hardware and features. Suspension-wise, the updated Speed Twin 900 now has Marzocchi upside-down (USD) forks at the front, replacing the previous gaitered telescopic fork. At the rear, it is equipped with twin Marzocchi piggyback shocks, which offer preload adjustment for improved ride customization.

Another key upgrade is the addition of a radial calliper with the Triumph logo and a larger 320mm disc, replacing the former axial Brembo calliper and 310mm disc, resulting in better braking performance. The Speed Twin 900 retains its 100/90-18 front and 150/70-R17 rear wheels but now comes fitted with Michelin Road Classic tyres.

In terms of ergonomics, the Triumph Speed Twin 900's seat height has increased to 780mm from 765mm. However, an optional low-seat accessory brings it down to 760mm for riders seeking a lower stance. The updated Speed Twin 900 now has a TFT display, which replaces the previous single-pod digi-analogue screen. The updated screen works with the optional heated grips and Bluetooth connectivity module, and it provides more detailed information, including rider modes.

Other key features include reduced rear wheel travel (down from 120mm to 110mm), optional cruise control, and lean-sensitive road and rain riding modes with optimised cornering ABS and traction control (standard).

2025 Triumph Speed Twin 900: Engine

The updated bike is powered by the same 900cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine that produces 64bhp at 7,500rpm and 80Nm at 3,800rpm, paired with a 5-speed transmission.
