Triumph has updated the Speed Twin 900 for 2025 with new features, and a redesigned chassis. The bike's new appearance is now in line with the sleeker design language of its larger siblings, the 1200s, featuring elements like a full-LED headlamp, shorter fenders, and a simple taillight. Talking about the updated design of the retro roadster, Triumph’s Chief Product Officer Steve Sargent said, 'This new Speed Twin 900 styling has evolved to be sleeker and more dynamic while still retaining the classic design cues that deliver that timeless style.' He also added that 'The bike is more agile and easier to manouvre too, as we’ve made changes to the chassis and specification that all add up to make a big difference.' Read on to find out other changes on the 2025 iteration.

Triumph Speed Twin 900: More Highlights

While the engine remains the same, the bike has received significant hardware upgrades, including a non-adjustable Marzocchi USD fork that replaces the gaitered telescopic unit found on the previous model. At the back, a narrower rear frame with a slimmer mudguard and a small taillight accompanies the new aluminum swingarm and piggy-back rear suspension parts. Further, the radial calliper bearing the Triumph logo and a larger 320mm disc has taken the place of the axial Brembo calliper and 310mm front disc. Although the wheels on the bike still measure 100/90-18 (front) and 150/70-R17 (rear), they are now wrapped in Michelin Road Classic tyres.

The Triumph bike's seat height has increased to 780mm from 765mm, however, it can be lowered to 760mm with the low seat accessory. In terms of features, the redesigned Speed Twin 900 now has a TFT panel instead of the previous single-pod digi-analogue screen. The new display gives additional information, such as rider mode, and is compatible with the optional heated grips, along with the Bluetooth Connectivity module, which adds turn-by-turn navigation and allows riders to see and manage phone calls and music directly from the smartphone. Other noteworthy features include the lean-sensitive road and rain riding modes with optimised cornering ABS and traction control as standard, optional cruise control, and lowered rear wheel travel (from 120mm to 110mm).

The new Speed Twin 900 comes with three unique colour options, including a Pure White with orange and blue stripes, a Phantom Black tank with dark grey stripes and gold accents, and an Aluminium Silver with a dash of red that surrounds the Triumph logo.

Mechanically, the bike continues to use a liquid-cooled, 900cc, parallel-twin unit that delivers 64bhp at 7,500rpm and 80Nm at 3,800rpm. It has a 5-speed gearbox.
