Suzuki has updated its popular adventure bike, the V-Strom SX, to comply with the OBD-2B norms for 2025. The model is priced at Rs 2.16 lakh, showing an increase of approximately Rs 5,000 over the previous version. Bookings are now open, with deliveries scheduled to start soon. The design of the V-Strom SX remains unchanged, but it now offers three new colour options: Champion Yellow No.2, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Sonoma Red. The bike's 249cc single-cylinder, air-oil cooled engine, now OBD-2B compliant, produces 26.5bhp and 22.2Nm and is mated to a six-speed gearbox. This unit is recognised for its smooth performance and impressive fuel efficiency.
The V-Strom SX has notable features, including a Bluetooth-enabled digital instrument cluster with Suzuki Ride Connect, sleek LED headlights, sturdy knuckle guards, and a practical aluminium rear luggage mount. Its design is highlighted by a tall windscreen, a beak-like front fender, and a sharp fuel tank with dynamic extensions, embodying its true adventure spirit. For smooth handling, the bike gets telescopic front forks and a rear monoshock. It has single discs on both ends, backed by dual-channel ABS for braking. Suzuki’s 250cc ADV rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped in 100/90 front and 140/70 rear dual-purpose tubeless tyres.
