If you have always been an enthusiast of the KTM 390 Adventure in India, something exciting is in store for you. KTM plans to significantly enhance its adventure tourer in 2025. Although not much information has been released by KTM at this point, the forthcoming KTM 390 Adventure will probably appear on the market by early in the next year. It was spotted going through road tests in our area, revealing some significant upgrades. The most notable of these is the rally appearance that draws inspiration from Dakar and features components like a skinny tail section, a huge fairing, and a beak-styled fender. Overall, the next-generation bike appears to have a streamlined shape with chiseled look and clean lines. To know more about the upcoming new iteration of the 390 Adventure in India, let's take a look at some features highlighted through the recent spy shots.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: What's More?
Compared to its predecessor, the new KTM 390 Adventure will be more off-road oriented. It is going to sport a rally-inspired Dakar look and include parts such as a single-piece seat, a slender tail section, an enormous fairing resembling a rally tower, as well as a beak-style fender. The spy pictures show the Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 rival with a high-mounted colour TFT screen, just like the new 390 Duke.
The bike's technical details are unknown at this time. However, market reports suggest that the MY2025 version will employ the same 399cc liquid-cooled motor as the KTM 390 Duke. A six-speed gearbox and the LC4c motor together yield 39Nm and 45.3bhp. The reports further indicate that though the new KTM model will have a revised subframe to match its adventure purpose, it will have the same steel trellis chassis as the recently released 390 Duke.
It is probably going to have a rear monoshock with preload and rebound adjustment, as well as WP upside-down forks with adjustable compression and rebound. In comparison to the existing version, the new layout will likely provide more suspension travel. Further, the 2025 version will likely ride on dual-purpose tyres mounted on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wire-spoke wheels.
2025 KTM 390 Adventure: India Launch
KTM is expected to unveil the bike at EICMA this year, although no specific information has been disclosed yet. Following that, the revised ADV is slated to launch in India at a little higher price than the existing model, which starts at Rs 3.39 lakh (ex-showroom).
