A near-production version of the 2025 KTM 390 Adventure has been showcased overseas ahead of its highly anticipated EICMA debut in Milan on November 5. The bike, covered in camouflage, was displayed during the 2024 KTM Adventure Rally in South Dakota, USA. The brand's Research & Development team presented two prototypes of the upcoming model, offering a glimpse at its design. As a popular adventure-touring motorcycle, the 390 Adventure has consistently attracted riders with its versatile performance and reliability. These latest developments could signal KTM’s intention to refine its design and features further, offering a more dynamic riding experience. Enthusiasts eagerly await the official release to see how these enhancements translate to real-world performance.

2025 KTM 390 Adventure: What to Expect?
The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure series will include an enduro and supermoto variant, alongside the standard dual-purpose off-road model. The Austrian manufacturer has been testing the next-gen 390 Adventure in races with minimal camouflage. The bike now aligns more closely with the design of its bigger siblings, sporting an all-new LED headlamp with a dual projector setup for a more commanding look. It also features a tall transparent windscreen.
Other updates include a new LED Daytime Running Light signature, a rally-style single seat, and a beak-style front fender. A larger fuel tank is accented by body extensions with sleek, minimalist panels enhancing its appearance. The compact rear showcases a new LED tail lamp, slender turn indicators, and split grab rails. A metallic belly pan, underbelly exhaust, hand guards, a prominent front beak, and an exposed blacked-out trellis frame, further highlight the bike's adventurous character.

Coming to the mechanical side of things, the new KTM 390 Adventure will be equipped with a 399cc DOHC, four-valve, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, initially introduced in the 390 Duke. This engine puts out 44.25bhp of maximum power and 39Nm of peak torque. A six-speed gearbox with a slip and assist clutch will handle transmission duties.
On the hardware front, the bike features upside-down (USD) front forks and a rear monoshock with a single-sided swingarm. The braking setup comprises a front disc brake with an axial calliper and a rear disc, both supported by a dual-channel ABS. The motorcycle has wire-spoked wheels, measuring 21 inches at the front and 18 inches at the rear.
In terms of features, expect the model to boast electronic aids such as switchable rear ABS, multiple ride modes, a fully digital colour TFT instrument console, traction control, Bluetooth connectivity, ride-by-wire throttle, turn-by-turn navigation, bi-directional quickshifter, and a USB charging port.
