KTM is expected to launch the updated 390 Adventure in India on November 14, following its spectacular debut at the EICMA 2024 in Milan, Italy. While the bikemaker hasn't disclosed anything, the previously leaked brochure suggests that the new version will be very distinct from its predecessor, with two variants: X (road-biased) and R (off-road focused). The 390 Adventure R will have an H50 TFT dash, possibly with GPS and Bluetooth, adjustable suspension (with 230mm wheel travel), spoked wheels (21-inch at the front and 18-inch at the rear), cornering ABS, a digital instrument console, traction control, and an 885mm seat height. It will also include cruise control, making it the first bike in its class to do so. The R variant will reportedly come in a single paint scheme of orange and white.

On the other hand, the road-biased 390 Adventure X will have a lower seat height of 825mm, similar to the Himalayan 450. It will sport the same chassis and body panels as the 390 Adventure R but with non-adjustable suspension and 200mm wheel travel. Other bits include standard ABS, alloy wheels (19-inch front and 17-inch rear), and LCD display. As for the colours, the X model will offer two options (white/orange, and black/orange).

According to the previously leaked test mule images, the all-new KTM 390 Adventure will have a bigger windscreen, a contoured fuel tank, a reworked taillamp, a single-piece seat setup, a more elevated beak-style front mudguard, and vertically mounted LED projector headlights.

The 2025 KTM 390 Adventure is likely to be propelled by the same 399cc single-cylinder engine as the 390 Duke. This unit churns out a maximum power of 45bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 39Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm, mated to a six-speed gearbox. While there is no confirmation, the new KTM 390 Adventure's engine may have a slightly different state of tune.
