Kawasaki has launched the 2025 Ninja 500 in India, priced at Rs 5.29 lakh (ex-showroom). This latest iteration of the popular mid-range sportbike arrives with a new colour variant and a marginal price bump of Rs 5,000 compared to its predecessor. The addition of a new colour scheme, coupled with a green accent on the fairing adds a fresh visual appeal to the model. The Ninja 500 retains its signature sporty design, featuring aerodynamic styling and advanced features to enhance rider comfort and control. Equipped with a refined engine and updated technology, the motorcycle promises an exhilarating yet reliable riding experience. Positioned as a versatile option for enthusiasts, it caters to urban commuting and spirited weekend rides. With its competitive pricing and new updates, the Ninja 500 is set to attract significant attention in the Indian market.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500: Design

The Ninja 500 represents a sophisticated evolution of the Ninja 400’s design language, offering a more dynamic and eye-catching appearance. The Ninja 500 features a bold, modern design that reflects the iconic Ninja heritage. Its sharp, dual headlamps project a striking and authoritative look, blending seamlessly with the angular, layered fairing. This styling flows into a muscular fuel tank and a sleek, upward-angled tail section.

The inclusion of Kawasaki’s iconic green highlights on the side fairings adds vibrancy and character, giving the 2025 iteration of the bike a stronger road presence. This is a noticeable improvement over the previous model, which featured an almost entirely black design that lacked visual impact.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500: Engine Specs

The motorcycle is powered by a 451cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, which produces 44.7bhp of maximum power and 42.6Nm of peak torque.

This engine delivers power smoothly and progressively. While it matches the power output of the discontinued Ninja 400, it generates an additional 5Nm of torque.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500: Hardware Setup

The motorcycle is built on a strong steel trellis frame and comes equipped with 17-inch alloy wheels. The suspension setup includes telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear, ensuring a balanced and smooth ride. Braking is robust, with a 310mm front disc and a 220mm rear disc, offering enhanced stopping power compared to the Ninja 400.

2025 Kawasaki Ninja 500: Electronic Aids

In terms of equipment, the Ninja 500 falls short when compared to its rivals. It features a negative LCD with Bluetooth functionality, enabling access to smartphone notifications and ride data. Key additions include dual-channel ABS for improved safety and an assist-and-slipper clutch for effortless and smoother gear shifting.
