Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) is boosting the appeal of its two-wheeler range by introducing new features and meeting the latest OBD2B emission standards. Following the updated Activa 125, HMSI has now launched the 2025 version of its popular SP125 motorcycle, with prices starting at Rs 91,771 (ex-showroom). The 2025 SP125 retains its 124cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, now upgraded to meet OBD2B emissions standards. It continues to deliver a peak power output of 10.72bhp and a maximum torque of 10.9Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. Additionally, the new model is equipped with an idling stop system, further improving fuel efficiency.
Commenting on the launch, Yogesh Mathur, Director, of Sales and Marketing, at Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, 'The SP125 has consistently been the most favoured motorcycle in its category, and with this latest upgrade, we have further enhanced its style, performance, and convenience. Packed with advanced features like Bluetooth navigation, voice assist, and a USB Type-C charging port, it will cater to the demands of today’s tech-savvy riders.'
He further added 'We are confident that the new SP125 is all-set to captivate the youth with its premiumness and redefine the 125cc motorcycle segment.'
2025 Honda SP125: What’s More?
The 2025 Honda SP125 has stylish tank shrouds, a streamlined chrome muffler, new decals, and an eye-catching all-LED headlamp and taillamp that add to its aggressive, contemporary appearance. In terms of features, the 2025 model steps up with a 4.2-inch TFT display that offers Bluetooth connectivity and compatibility with the Honda RoadSync app. This integration improves convenience while riding by enabling riders to obtain turn-by-turn guidance straight on the screen. Additionally, the bike now includes a USB Type-C charging port. To top it off, the 2025 SP125 is offered in five fresh paint options: Imperial Red Metallic, Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, and Matt Marvel Blue Metallic.
part from these updates, the 2025 Honda SP125 remains largely the same. It still features 17-inch wheels, telescopic forks, and dual rear springs. The bike maintains a kerb weight of 116kg, while the fuel tank holds 11.2 litres.

The 2025 Honda SP125 is now priced at Rs 91,771 for the drum brake variant, which marks an increase of Rs 4,303 compared to its previous price. Meanwhile, the disc brake version is available for Rs 1 lakh (both prices are ex-showroom), reflecting a hike of Rs 8,532. In terms of market rivalry, the SP125 continues to lock horns with the Bajaj Pulsar NS125, the Hero Splendor Plus, and the TVS Raider.
