2025 Honda Shine 125 Launched at Rs 84,493 in India; Gets OBD2B-compliant Engine and New Features
The Honda Shine 125 features a 123.94cc engine producing 11bhp and 11Nm, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. It has telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks.

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 Shine 125, featuring an updated OBD2B-compliant engine, refreshed styling, and new features. The commuter motorcycle is available in two variants: the Drum variant at Rs 84,493 and the Disc variant at Rs 89,245 (ex-showroom). The latest Shine 125 brings several upgrades such as a fully digital instrument cluster that now provides real-time mileage, range, gear position, service reminders, and an eco-indicator. Other new features include an idling stop system to enhance fuel efficiency and a USB Type-C charging port for added convenience.

2025 Honda Shine 125: Design
While retaining its familiar design, the 2025 model now comes with a new colour scheme. The 2025 Shine 125 is available in six colours: Pearl Igneous Black, Geny Gray Metallic, Matte Axis Gray Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Decent Blue Metallic, and Pearl Siren Blue.

Additionally, a wider 90mm rear tyre has been introduced to improve stability and aesthetics.
2025 Honda Shine 125: Engine
The motorcycle is powered by a 123.94cc single-cylinder PGM-Fi engine, delivering 11bhp at 7500 RPM and 11Nm of torque at 6000 RPM and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bike comes with telescopic front forks and twin rear shocks for a smooth and stable ride.
