2025 Honda Hornet 2.0 Launched at Rs 1.57 Lakh in India; Gets OBD2B-compliant Engine and New Features

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has launched the 2025 Hornet 2.0, showcasing a refreshed look and a range of enhanced features. Now meeting OBD2B emission standards, this latest iteration carries an ex-showroom price tag of Rs 1.57 lakh and is available for purchase at all HMSI Red Wing and BigWing outlets across India. Commenting on the launch, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, said, 'The Hornet 2.0 has been a game-changer in the segment ever since it was first introduced in August 2020. Over the years, we have continuously updated the motorcycle and even introduced special MotoGP edition models, each receiving an overwhelming response from our customers. With the new OBD2B-compliant Hornet 2.0, we aim to take this legacy forward by offering an even more refined riding experience, coupled with cutting-edge technology and superior safety features.'
2025 Honda Hornet 2.0: What's New?
The updated Hornet 2.0 boasts a revamped design with revised graphics, aligning with the renowned bikemaker’s recent styling updates across its model lineup.

The bike is equipped with a full LED lighting system and is offered in four striking shades: Pearl Igneous Black, Radiant Red Metallic, Athletic Blue Metallic, and Mat Axis Gray Metallic.
2025 Honda Hornet 2.0: Engine Specs
The Hornet 2.0 comes with an 184.40cc single-cylinder, four-stroke engine that adheres to OBD2B regulations. It generates 16.76bhp of maximum power at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 15.7Nm at 6,000rpm. This engine is paired with a five-speed transmission for efficient performance.

Additionally, the bike features an Assist & Slipper Clutch, which not only reduces the effort required for clutch operation but also prevents the rear wheel from locking up during abrupt downshifts, ensuring better stability and control.
2025 Honda Hornet 2.0: Feature Set
Feature-wise, the 2025 Hornet 2.0 boasts a USB-C charging port and a 4.2-inch TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity via the Honda RoadSync app. This system enables riders to access navigation, receive incoming call alerts, and view SMS notifications.
To enhance safety, the brand has incorporated Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) along with a dual-channel ABS for superior braking performance and improved ride stability.
