2025 Ducati Panigale V4 Unveiled with Sleeker Design, 214 bhp, and a Double-sided Swingarm
Now complying with Euro5+ regulations, the 1,103cc V4 engine of the 2025 Ducati Panigale V4 produces 120.9Nm of peak torque at 11,250rpm and 214bhp of maximum power at 13,500rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.
On the eve of their biennial World Ducati Week event in Misano, Ducati raised the bar for superbikes again with the new Panigale V4 range. The bike has been completely overhauled in terms of design, technical foundation, and ergonomics. The model, the seventh generation of sportsbikes to carry the Panigale name, especially draws attention due to its updated swingarm and styling, which combines the contemporary aero ethos (which lowers drag by 4 percent), with the aesthetics of the 916 and 1098 V-twins. The new Panigale V4 employs MotoGP tech and is similar to the bikes used by WSBK riders. Even though the V4 S model complies with Euro5 emissions rules, it weighs 2 kg less than the previous model, making it slightly more powerful. According to tests conducted by many riders with varying skill levels, it is also faster on the track. The 2025 Panigale V4 will be available at dealerships overseas in September.
2025 Ducati Panigale V4: Appearance
Starting with the front end, a set of streamlined LED headlights have replaced the LED projector headlights. These headlights, which give the new Panigale V4 an aggressive appearance, are partly modelled after those of the Ducati Multistrada V4. The windscreen on the new bike looks larger than the one on the one it replaces. Additionally new are the aerodynamic winglets that have evolved into a modern superbike staple. These are body coloured, unlike the previous-gen model, and are positioned just beneath the headlights. The updated side fairing, which enhances the bike's appearance and performance through aerodynamic designs and improved vents, is visible from the side.
2025 Ducati Panigale V4: Engine and Chassis
Now complying with Euro5+ regulations, the 1,103cc V4 engine produces 120.9Nm of peak torque at 11,250rpm and 214bhp of maximum power at 13,500rpm. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox with a quickshifter as a standard.
There are several chassis adjustments. The bike features a "Front Frame" with unchanged longitudinal stiffness but lateral stiffness has been reduced by 40%. It is lighter and more flexible for a better feel and faster cornering speeds. The single-sided swingarm is also gone from the new Panigale V4, which now has a hollow, symmetrical swingarm. Ducati claims improved mechanical grip and higher stability with this unit, which has 37% less lateral stiffness. The third-gen Ohlins electronic suspension is fitted to the Panigale V4 S. There is a TTX36 monoshock at the back and an NPX-30 pressurised fork up front.
The new Panigale V4 also gets updated brake hardware, including Brembo Hypure callipers. These are an improvement over the Brembo Stylema callipers, weighing 30 gm lighter and dissipating heat more effectively. Moreover, there is reduced inertia because the bike is riding on new 17-inch alloy wheels, which weigh 2.17 kg less. Pirelli Diablo Supercorse SP-V4 tyres are mounted on the wheels.
2025 Ducati Panigale V4: Ergonomics and Electronics
The Italian bikemaker has attempted to make the Panigale V4's difficult riding posture better in the latest model. The larger 17-litre fuel tank is designed to provide increased stability while stopping. In addition, a new seat has been added, which is roomier than the old one at 35mm longer and 50mm wider. The footpegs are positioned 10mm farther, enhancing overall comfort.
When it comes to electronics, the new Panigale V4 is equipped with ride modes, traction control, wheelie control, slide control, and power modes (Full, High, Medium, and Low). A new 6.9-inch colour TFT display allows you to control the settings. According to Ducati, the high-resolution display provides clear visibility even in bright lighting.
