2024 Yamaha YZF-R15M, MT-15 V2.0 Monster Energy MotoGP Editions Launched in India

Yamaha has introduced the 2024 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition models of the R15M and MT-15 Version 2.0 in India. The colour scheme of these 2024 YZF-R15M and MT-15 V2.0 models closely resembles that of the YZR-M1 MotoGP bike, capturing the essence of Yamaha's racing heritage.

Yamaha has introduced the 2024 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition models of the R15M and MT-15 Version 2.0 in India. The 2024 R15M MotoGP Edition is priced at Rs. 1.99 lakh while the MT-15 V2 MotoGP Edition is available at Rs. 1.74 lakh (both ex-showroom). These special editions will be available exclusively at Yamaha's Blue Square dealerships across India. The new models showcase striking MotoGP-inspired livery on the fuel tank, tank shrouds, and side panels, highlighting their racing pedigree.

2024 MT 15 V2 Monster Energy MotoGP Editions

Both bikes come equipped with a traction control system, Variable Valve Actuation (VVA), upside-down front forks for suspension, a linked-type monocross at the rear, and Bluetooth connectivity. The R15M also includes a quick shifter, a fully digital colour TFT display with turn-by-turn navigation, music and volume controls, enhanced switchgear, and an LED license plate light.

Yamaha R15M, MT-15 Version 2.0: Engine

The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition boat the same 155cc four-valve SOHC engine that generates a peak power of 18.4bhp and a maximum torque of 14.2Nm. This engine is paired with a smooth-shifting six-speed transmission equipped with a slipper and assist clutch for enhanced control.

Recently, Yamaha also introduced the R15M Carbon Edition, a model inspired by the flagship YZF-R1M. The R15M Carbon Edition features eye-catching carbon-fibre accents on its side fairings, front cowl, and rear quarter panel while retaining the base Silver fuel tank colour. Additional enhancements include an all-black fender, striking blue accents on the fairing, new decals on the tank, and stylish blue-finished wheels with blacked-out tyres.
