Following its 'The Call of the Blue' brand campaign, India Yamaha Motor has updated the MT-15 V2, Fascino, and Ray ZR model range. As part of the latest revamp, a Cyber Green paint job is now available for Yamaha MT-15 buyers. Moreover, new graphical improvements can be noticed in the Cyan Storm DLX colour palette. One of the other updates is the addition of the hazard light function to the MT-15 V2 DLX model, enhancing convenience and safety. Yamaha aims to appeal to a wider range of riders nationwide, with a special focus on Gen Z customers, with its bold and vibrant portfolio revamp. Previously, the company announced colour customisation options for the MT-15 models in India, enabling buyers to pick and add their preferred colours to their bikes.
2024 Yamaha MT-15 V2
Yamaha's MT-15 line-up now includes a brand-new Cyber Green colour option, priced at Rs 1.73 lakh (ex-showroom). To further improve the aesthetics of the street naked bike, additional graphical enhancements have been made to the Cyan Storm DLX colour scheme. As mentioned earlier, apart from the revised paint jobs, the Japanese bikemaker has equipped the MT-15 with the hazard light function. The current colour shades, such as Racing Blue, Ice Fluo Vermillion, Dark Matte Blue, and Metallic Black, are still available, giving people a variety of options to choose from.
The MT-15 is powered by a 155cc liquid-cooled 4-valve single-cylinder engine, producing 14.2Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm and 18bhp of maximum power at 10,000rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch and variable valve actuation (VVA) technology. The bike also comes with an aluminium swingarm, dual-channel ABS, and traction control. On the hardware front, it gets USD front forks and a mono-shock at the rear.
2024 Yamaha Fascino
The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid range includes several new colour schemes for 2024, which include Cyan Blue, Matte Copper, Silver, and Metallic White. The bike is available in disc and drum brake variants. Additionally, the Fascino drum brake version receives a brand-new Metallic Black paint job. Apart from the newly added colours, the bike is also available in Vivid Red, Cool Blue Metallic, and Dark Matte Blue paint options. The price of the model starts at Rs 79,150 and goes up to Rs 91,130. Both price figures are ex-showroom.
2024 Yamaha Ray ZR
Coming to the Ray ZR, Yamaha has unveiled the model in a new shade of Cyan Blue for both the disc and drum variants. The 125cc scooter is still available in the current colour schemes of Metallic Black, Matte Red, Racing Blue, and Dark Matte Blue. Furthermore, the Matte Copper, Matte Black, and Light Grey Vermillion colour options for the Yamaha Ray ZR Street Rally are on offer as well. In terms of price, the Ray ZR's drum variant costs Rs 85,030, while the disc variant is priced at Rs 91,130 (both prices, ex-showroom).
Yamaha Fascino, Ray ZR: Mechanical Specs
A fuel-injected air-cooled 125cc engine propels both the Yamaha Fascino and the Ray ZR. The engine is coupled with a CVT automatic transmission and is BS6 OBD-2 compliant. Both models also come with features like power assist, automatic start/stop, smart motor generator, LED lights, and Bluetooth connectivity.
