After the new MT-09, Yamaha has now revealed the upgraded higher-spec SP variant of the bike. Called the Yamaha MT-09 SP, the motorcycle incorporates a host of modifications for the global market, encompassing hardware, performance, and styling. Aesthetically, the top-spec version of the MT-09 sports a bold and revolutionary design with a blue-and-silver finish. It is still powered by the 890cc crossplane triple CP3 engine of the street naked bike, but it now complies with Euro 5 emission standards, without any compromises in terms of performance. While it’s not clear, currently, if the company intends to introduce the MT 09 SP to the Indian market, rumours suggest that it might.
