2024 Yamaha MT-03 and MT-25 Launched in Japan; Get New Colour Options

Yamaha has introduced fresh colour options for its well-liked MT-03 and MT-25 motorcycle models for the international market. While the MT-03 and YZF-R3 were rolled out in India in December last year, the MT-25 has not yet been introduced here. Despite the upgrades, the prices for both models remain the same. It is important to note that the newly added paint jobs are set to be available in the Indian market on July 30, 2024. 2024 Yamaha MT-03 and MT-25: New Updates

The Japanese bikemaker has added new colours for the MY2024 models of the MT-03 and MT-25. Dark Bluish Grey Metallic (Dark Grey), Deep Purplish Blue Metallic (Blue), and Dark Matte Grey Metallic (Matte Dark Grey) are the new colours available for the MT-03. The MT-25 also comes decked out in the same range of colour options.

With their robotic-looking LED headlamps and LED turn signals, the MT-03 and MT-25 have the same chassis and design philosophy. The bikes have split seats, a sculpted fuel tank, street-style handlebars, fairing-mounted ORVMs, and stylish packaging. The fully digital instrument cluster shows important data, such as the trip metre, clock, fuel capacity, gear position, coolant temperature, and average and real-time fuel economy. With a weight of 167 kg, both models are competitive in their respective segments due to their strong power-to-weight ratio.

2024 Yamaha MT-03 and MT-25: Engine Specs

On the mechanical front, a 321cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine, producing 41.4bhp of maximum power and 29.5Nm of peak torque propells the Yamaha MT-03. This unit is mated to a six-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch. In India, the MT-03 is available in both Midnight Black and Midnight Cyan colour options.

In contrast, a smaller 249cc parallel-twin DOHC 4V liquid-cooled engine powers the MT-25. Accompanied with a six-speed transmission, it generates 22.6Nm of torque and 35bhp of peak power.
