2024 Triumph Speed 1200 RS Launched with New Carnival Red Paint Scheme in India, Priced at Rs 18.25 Lakh
Priced at Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2024 Triumph Speed 1200 RS with a new Carnival Red option goes on sale in the country alongside its existing Sapphire Black, Matt Silver Ice, and Matt Baja Orange colour options.
A couple of days after launching the all-new Speed 400, Triumph Motorcycles has now launched the 2024 Speed Triple 1200 RS with a new paint scheme in the Indian market. The UK-owned motorcycle manufacturer has updated the Speed Triple 1200 RS for the 2024 model year and has given the bike a visual change in the form of a new colour option - Carnival Red. Priced at Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom), the 2024 Triumph Speed 1200 RS with a new Carnival Red option goes on sale in the country alongside its existing Sapphire Black, Matt Silver Ice, and Matt Baja Orange colour options. Both Sapphire Black and Matt Silver Ice paint schemes carry a price tag of Rs 17.95 lakh, while the Matt Baja Orange shade stands at Rs 18.25 lakh, similar to that of the new Carnival Red. Prices are ex-showroom.
Along with the 2024 Speed Triple 1200 RS, Triumph has updated the Tiger 850 Sport and the Tiger Sport 660 for 2024 by giving them fresh colours. The Tiger 850 Sport ADV tourer is now offered with a new Graphite Jet Black paint option, in addition to the existing Graphite Diablo Red colour. The Tiger Sport 660, meanwhile, is now available in two new paint schemes - Snowdonia White & Jet Black and Jet Black & Graphite.

2024 Triumph Speed 1200 RS: Engine and Gearbox
The main highlight of the 2024 Triumph Speed 1200 RS is its powerful 1,160cc, inline, 3-cylinder engine that develops 177.5bhp and 125Nm of peak torque, both of which remain unchanged. The engine is 7kg lighter and has a high redline - it can rev up to 11,150rpm. Power transmission duties are carried out by a 6-speed gearbox that has a slipper-and-assist clutch as well as a bi-directional quick-shifter.
2024 Triumph Speed 1200 RS: Cycle Parts
The motorcycle is fitted with top-shelf cycle parts, which include fully-adjustable Ohlins suspension and Brembo Stylema brakes. The suspension setup comprises upside-down front forks and a rear mono-shock. The braking hardware, on the other hand, includes twin 320mm discs at the front and a single disc at the rear. Weighing 198kg, the bike rides on 17-inch alloy wheels shod with Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V3 tyres.
2024 Triumph Speed 1200 RS: Features
On the feature front, the naked motorcycle comes with all-LED lighting, a 5.0-inch TFT screen, My Triumph connectivity system, cornering ABS (anti-lock braking system), switchable cornering traction control, cruise control, wheelie control, and keyless ignition. On offer are also five riding modes - Rain, Road, Sport, Track, and Rider.
2024 Triumph Speed 1200 RS: Price, Market Rivals
With a new update, the 2024 Streetfighter asks for Rs 18.25 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, the latest product is Triumph's answer to the likes of the Ducati Streetfighter V4, the Kawasaki ZH2, and the BMW S 1000 R.

New Triumph Speed 400 and Scrambler 400X
In recent news, the British bikemaker launched the eagerly-anticipated Speed 400, the most budget-friendly motorcycle in its India lineup. The Triumph Speed 400 will be offered alongside the Scrambler 400X, slated to be launched in October this year. Prospective buyers can book either motorcycle for a nominal amount of Rs 2,000. The cost of the new Triumph Speed 400 is Rs 2.33 lakh (ex-showroom), however, the first 10,000 customers will get to expend an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.23 lakh, according to the bikemaker.
