Triumph Motorcycles has uncloaked the 2024 Scrambler 1200 for the international market. The new iteration comprises a redesigned top-of-the-line XE variant, as well as a brand-new 'X' model that replaces the previous XC version. These two variants are powered by the same 1200cc parallel-twin engine that generates 89bhp of maximum power. According to Triumph, the engine has been enhanced with a new 50mm throttle body and exhaust headers that allow for improved flow and a wider torque distribution. It now delivers peak power at an earlier stage in the rev range, producing 89bhp at 7,000rpm and a maximum torque of 110Nm at 4,250rpm.
The 2024 Scrambler 1200 is a road-focused version that comes with an 820mm seat height, which can be further reduced with the optional 795mm seat. Both versions share a similar frame, but their ergonomics differ. The handlebars on the highest-spec XE variant are 65mm wider than those on the base X model. Additionally, the top-spec XE model comes with a 0.39-inch spacer and adjustable foot levers. In terms of appearance, the new variants of the Triumph Scrambler 1200 bike have undergone some minor changes, such as new paint and a thinner LED taillight, but still have a substantial resemblance to their previous versions.
It is important to note that this bike has been revealed abroad, and it is unclear when it will be available in our market. However, market sources suggest that the new Scrambler 1200 could come to our shores soon.
