A number of motorcycle manufacturers gather annually at EICMA to showcase their most intriguing new models. The event also sets the stage for these well-known bike brands from around the world to reveal some of their special edition offerings. The Indian FTR x 100% R Carbon Special Edition motorcycle, which debuted at the EICMA show in Milan, is the result of the collaboration between the oldest and one of the most prominent bike manufacturers in the US, Indian Motorcycles, and the motocross brand 100%. Since its inception in the 1980s, 100% has developed a solid standing for producing some of the most stylish and appealing helmets, goggles, and gloves for cyclists, motorcyclists, and other users. The model pays homage to the 123-year legacy of Indian Motorcycles and celebrates 100%'s influence on contemporary motocross. Furthermore, the limited-edition bike, which is based on the FTR R Carbon, is only available in 400 units worldwide and comes with several distinctive styling highlights. 2024 Indian FTR x 100% R Carbon Special Edition: Styling Cues
The bike is based on the standard FTR R Carbon and has a unique Blue Candy carbon fibre tank, seat cowl, headlight nacelle, and front fender. The striking bodywork is accentuated by a unique white powder-coated frame. The refreshed design includes the chin fairing, the cowl of the pillion seat, and the sides of the tank with Indian and 100% co-branding. Additional modifications comprise blacked-out Ohlins suspension parts, which include attractive gold stanchions, and black finished end cans on the titanium Akrapovic exhaust system. Apart from this, the bike also has a handful of fresh carbon components, such as the exhaust heat shield, chain guard, and engine covers. Gilles Tooling parts add a few appealing accessories, like unique bar-end weights, an oil cap, and a radiator cap.

Speaking of the engine specs, the new bike's 1,203cc, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled unit, which cranks out 121bhp of maximum power and 117Nm of peak torque, matches up to the one found on the standard FTR R Carbon version. For transmission, it is coupled to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch.
The suspension system is made up of an Öhlins piggyback setup at the back and a fully adjustable 43mm inverted telescopic fork at the front. A 120mm travel is available at both ends. A pair of Brembo four-piston calipers with 320 mm discs up front are in charge of the braking. There is a 260 mm disc with a single Brembo two-piston caliper at the back. Two 17-inch cast aluminum alloy wheels with Metzeler Sportec tyres (120/70 front and 180/55 rear) are mounted on them.

Coming to the feature set, the model is equipped with a range of amenities such as a four-inch TFT screen that can be connected to a smartphone. Along with this, there are a total of three riding modes - Rain, Standard, and Sport, traction control, stability control, USB charging outlet, lean angle sensitive ABS, cruise control, and wheelie & rear lift mitigation, among other features.

2024 Indian FTR x 100% R Carbon Special Edition: Limited Units
The FTR X 100% R Carbon will only be manufactured in 400 units by Indian Motorcycles. Of the total, 250 will be made available in foreign markets, with 150 arriving on the US market for sale. That being said, there is very little chance that it will end up on the Indian shores.
