As you know, Bajaj Auto is working toward refreshing its Pulsar lineup in India. For that reason, the new Pulsar N250 has been undergoing testing over the past few months. The spy shots have shown that the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 will get an upside-down front fork and a digital dash with Bluetooth connectivity, something which Bajaj will likely offer when the N250 launches on April 10 this year. Yes, you read that right. As per a first ride invite, Bajaj is planning on bringing the updated Pulsar N250 into the country on the said date.
The mechanical specifications of the new Bajaj Pulsar N250 are expected to be the same as the current version. A 249cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine makes 24bhp at 8,750rpm and 22Nm of peak torque at 6,500rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox, assisted by an assist and slipper clutch. Hardware-wise, one can expect a couple of upgrades. As mentioned, the suspension duties of the bike will likely be taken care of by an upside-down fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear. Stopping power is expected to come from petal-type disc brakes.
2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250: Features, Price
In terms of features, some market reports indicate that the new Pulsar N250 will offer a digital console with Bluetooth connectivity, in addition to a revised switchgear, a traction control system, and ABS modes. Other expected bits include 17-inch wheels and new colour options.
With all these updates, expect the 2024 Bajaj Pulsar N250 to command a premium over the existing model, which carries a sticker price of Rs 1.50 lakh (ex-showroom). Upon arrival, the bike will take on the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, the Honda Hornet 2.0, the KTM 250 Duke, and the Suzuki Gixxer 250.
New Bajaj Pulsar N125 Likely to Arrive in 2024
Forming a part of Bajaj's plans to revamp the entire Pulsar lineup, the new Pulsar N125 could go on sale in India by the middle or end of the year, with an estimated price of about Rs 1 lakh (ex-showroom). From the recent spy shots, it can be said that the updated Pulsar N125 will sport an LED headlamp, a telescopic fork and monoshock suspension setup, and a disc and drum brake setup.
Powering the new Pulsar N125 will likely be the same 124.45cc, single-cylinder engine. While Bajaj has yet to make it official, the engine is expected to receive a few tweaks for improved efficiency and performance. For reference, the NS125 currently develops 11.8bhp and 11Nm using a five-speed gearbox.
