2024 Bajaj Chetak Urbane Electric Scooter Launched in India at Rs 1.15 Lakh

The Chetak Urbane has an IDC-certified range of 113-kilometre on a full charge, although it still uses the same 2.9kWh battery pack as its predecessor. This indicates better real-world performance as it goes above the Premium variant's 108-kilometre ARAI-certified range.

Bajaj Chetak Urbane: Battery Pack and Performance

The Chetak Urbane has an IDC-certified range of 113-kilometre on a full charge, although it still uses the same 2.9kWh battery pack as its predecessor. Performance-wise, the regular Chetak Urbane may reach a top speed of 63km/h, which is in line with the current model. Customers who wish to go for the Tecpac upgrade, however, can access a peak speed of 73km/h.

Bajaj Chetak Urbane: Charging Time and Hardware

It is noteworthy that there has been a little alteration in the charging mechanics. The model currently on sale requires 3 hours and 50 minutes to fully charge, whereas the Chetak Urbane now requires 4 hours and 50 minutes. The new variant's off-board 650W charger compared to the top-spec Premium version's 800W charger is the reason for this modification. The Urbane is still a useful and effective option for urban commuting despite this modification. The model's braking setup consists of a front disc and a rear drum, and it rides on the same mono shock system up front and back.
