Ahead of the MotoGP Bharat scheduled to take place at Greater Noida's Buddh International Circuit on September 22-24, Yamaha India has announced the launch of the 2023 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition models of the SuperSport YZF-R15M, the Dark Warrior MT-15 V2.0, and the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid. The special edition motorcycles will go on sale from the 3rd week of September at the company's Blue Square chain of dealerships across India. The price for the 2023 Yamaha YZF-R15M Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition is Rs 1.97 lakh, while the MT-15 V2.0 and the Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid scooter are available at Rs 1.73 lakh and Rs 92,330, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom. Moreover, the special MotoGP Editions for the Maxi-sports Scooter and the Aerox 155 will also be introduced soon.
Changes in these special-edition two-wheelers are purely cosmetic. Inspired by Yamaha's MotoGP motorcycles, the YZF-R15 and the MT-15 V2.0 now come in a black paint job with Monster Energy and Yamaha decals. The Yamaha MotoGP livery can be seen prominently on the fuel tank, its shrouds, as well as the side panels. On the other hand, the Ray ZR models and the Aerox 155 get Yamaha MotoGP livery on the overall body. Yamaha says that the MotoGP Edition model range will be offered in limited numbers.
