Yamaha has announced another exciting update on the popular motorcycle, FZ-S FI V4. Two additional colours, dark matte blue and matte black, have been added to the model's colour palette. These two new hues are available on the FZ-S FI V4 at a price of Rs 1.28 lakh (ex-showroom). Yamaha anticipates a rise in sales with the advent of the festive season due in part to the release of new colour options for the FZ-S FI V4. With the new FZ-S FI V4 paint options, Yamaha aims to give consumers a more bespoke service and bring in more enthusiasts of the FZ brand. Metallic Grey, Majesty Red, and Metallic Black are just a few of the available hues for the FZ-S FI V4 Deluxe.
Yamaha FZ-S FI V4: Features
The FZ-S comes standard with a number of useful features, such as an LCD instrument cluster, a tyre-hugging rear mudguard, an LED headlight, an engine guard, and the Bluetooth-enabled Y-Connect App. It weighs 136kg and has a fuel capacity of 13 litres. In addition to the 120mm of wheel travel provided by the mono-shock suspension, the single-piece seat and the single-piece grab rail.

Yamaha FZ-S FI V4: Engine
It comes as no surprise that the motorcycle's 149 cc single-cylinder air-cooled, SOHC 2-valve Fi engine, producing 12.4bhp at 7,250rpm, remains unchanged. The maximum torque is 13.3Nm and occurs at 5,500rpm. The Japanese manufacturer also provides an option with front disc brakes, rear drum brakes, and a single-channel anti-lock braking system.
Upcoming Yamaha R3 and MT-03
Yamaha made the most of their time in the spotlight at the MotoGP Bharat by showcasing three of its highly anticipated models: the MT-03, the new Yamaha R3, and the R7. The new Yamaha R3 will be a welcome addition to Yamaha's current product list in India, which has experienced steady improvements in the entry-level luxury motorcycle segment in recent years.

Yamaha first made its way into this segment with the release of the YZF-R3. However, due to the stricter BS-6 emission requirements being implemented in April 2020, production of this model was halted after only a few years. Launches for the R3 and MT-03 in India are scheduled for December. With the return of the YZF-R3, Yamaha is ready to challenge Honda and Suzuki in the entry-level premium bike market in India.
