2023 Street Triple R and RS: Exterior Styling
The most recent version of this Triumph Motorcycles line, which rivals the popular Ducati Monster, has received significant updates. The twin-pod LED headlight, for instance, has now become sharper in terms of styling and has been modelled after that of the most recent Speed Triple 1200 RS. The Street Triple 765 R, which is headed for India, will be available in two colour options: Silver Ice and Crystal White, just like the global models. Additionally, the Street Triple 765 RS will be sold in India in its entire colour palette. These colour schemes include Cosmic Yellow, Carnival Red, and Silver Ice.
2023 Street Triple R and RS: Mechanical Specifications
Furthermore, the mechanical specifications are updated. The 765cc, inline three-cylinder liquid-cooled engine from the Street Triple 765 range is still present, but it now produces more power. On the Street Triple 765 R, this engine is calibrated to produce 80Nm of maximum torque at 9,500rpm and 118.4bhp of peak power at 11,500rpm. The performance-spec RS model uses the same engine to generate 128.2bhp of maximum power at 12,000rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 9,500rpm.
According to the bikemaker, the ride modes have also been enhanced. Four ride modes – Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider-configurable – are now available in the R variant. On the other hand, the RS has an extra Track mode. For improved responsiveness, Triumph claims to have added more dynamic throttle maps to the Road, Sport, and Track modes. The RS has a 5-inch colour TFT display, which can be used to access all electronics settings, whereas the base R version has a simpler Trident-like display.
2023 Street Triple R and RS: Chassis
The RS's shorter wheelbase and sharper rake are two significant changes to the steering geometry. A spacer on the mono-shock has been added, raising the tail section. With the new 12mm wider handlebar, the bike is now easier to turn into a corner with less steering effort. The wider handlebar helps the R by giving it more leverage. In terms of braking, the RS receives a substantial boost in the form of Brembo Stylema callipers, which provide better bite and feedback compared to the previous Brembo Monobloc M50s, which it replaces.
