The 2023 range of Triumph Motorcycles will be making its public appearance tomorrow in the Indian market. The company will finally drop the veil on the latest Street Triple RS and the Street Triple R at the launch event. The bookings for the new middleweight roadster bikes have been underway since December 2022 and their deliveries are likely to start in the month of April this year. The country will receive two variants of the 2023 Street Triple 765 Range - RS and R, which is not the case with the international markets. Meanwhile, the limited-edition Moto2 model will not go on sale in our market. For the MY2023, The updated Street Triple RS and the Street Triple R will receive cosmetic changes, and a couple of new features, among other upgrades. Here's all you need to know:

2023 Triumph Street Triple Range: Exterior Styling
The 2023 Triumph Street Triple roadster range will bring with it significant updates in terms of styling. The Street Triple has been made sportier than its predecessor off the back of a new fly screen, a sculpted fuel tank, raised tail section, and modified fuel tank extensions. However, the pair continues with the brand's bug-eyed LED headlights at the front.
Dimensionally, the upcoming Triumph R and the RS will have seat heights of 836mm and 826mm, respectively. Both will get a new 12mm wider handlebar, making it easier for a rider to turn into a corner with less steering effort.
In addition, the Triumph R motorcycle will be available in two colour options in India - Silver Ice and Crystal White. While the Triumph RS will go on sale in three paint schemes in our home market, which include Cosmic Yellow, Carnival Red, and Silver Ice.
2023 Triumph Street Triple Range: Engine Specs
The 2023 iterations of the Street Triple range will feature increased power outputs. The same 765cc, inline-three-cylinder engine now churns out more power. On the Street Triple 765 R, the liquid-cooled engine is tuned to produce 118.4bhp of power at 11,500rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 9,500rpm. On the other hand, the Street Triple RS model uses the same engine to make 128.2bhp of maximum power at 12,000rpm and 80Nm of peak torque at 9,500rpm.
2023 Triumph Street Triple Range: Features
Feature-wise, the Street Triple RS and the R will gain traction control and cornering ABS (anti-lock braking system) as standard. Other notable features on both models include a bi-direction quick shifter, Showa forks and monoshock, and 17-inch cast aluminium wheels at both ends. In particular, the RS has a 5-inch TFT console for accessing the electronics' settings, whereas the base R version has a simpler, Trident-like display.
For braking duties, the RS receives 310mm twin Brembo Stylema callipers with a single 220mm rear disc. While the Street Triple R comes with Brembo M4.32 310mm dual brake callipers with 220mm single disc.
Moreover, the R model will get 4 riding modes - Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider. Whereas, the RS will have 5 riding modes - Road, Rain, Sport, Rider, and Track.

2023 Triumph Street Triple Range: Expected Prices
We anticipate the prices of the Street Triple RS with premium hardware to range between Rs 11.50 and Rs 12 lakh. The base version could have a price tag of Rs Rs 9.5-10 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. When launched in India, the Street Triple motorcycles will compete against the likes of the Ducati Monster and the BMW F900R.
