Suzuki Motorcycle India has pulled the wraps off the new and updated Hayabusa for the Indian market. The upgrades in the third-generation Suzuki Hayabusa come in the form of OBD2-A compliance and three new colour schemes. Now, the 2023 Hayabusa is available in Metallic Thunder Gray & Candy Daring Red, Metallic Mat Black No. 2 & Glass Sparkle Black, and Pearl Vigor Blue & Pearl Brilliant White paint schemes. In addition to this, the updated version also complies with OBD2-A (on-board diagnostics) standards as part of BS6 Phase II emission norms. The on-board diagnostic device will monitor emission norms in real-time. Brought into the country through the CKD (Completely Knocked Down) route, the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa is priced at Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The 2023 Hayabusa has been on sale in the country since April 7, 2023. It can be purchased in three dual-tone colours as mentioned earlier. It has different colours on the main body, side cowlings, around the front air intakes, and in the rear section.
2023 Suzuki Hayabusa: Powertrain and Hardware
The 2023 version receives no mechanical changes. It continues to be powered by the same 1340cc, inline-four-cylinder, DOHC, liquid-cooled engine, which now meets OBD2-A compliance. The engine delivers 187bhp of power and 150Nm of peak torque and comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
In terms of hardware, the 2023 Hayabusa comes with a twin-spar aluminium frame and swingarm. It gets 43mm upside-down front forks and fully-adjustable monoshock in the rear. For braking duties, the latest motorcyle uses Brembo Stylema brake callipers that are claimed to deliver excellent performance. Weighing 266 kilogram, it rides on Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S22 tyres.
2023 Suzuki Hayabusa: Features
In terms of features, the 2023 Suzuki Hayabusa comes with a six-axis IMU, ride-by-wire throttle, cornering ABS (anti-braking system), launch control, cruise control, a TFT instrument panel, three power modes, riding modes, and so on. Moreover, it gets a bi-directional quick shifter as standard.

As far as safety goes, the updated Hayabusa features a traction control system, an anti-lift control system, engine brake control, motion track control, hill/slope control, a low-RPM assist function, and an active speed limiter.
