The 2023 Suzuki Burgman Street with OBD2-A support is now on sale in the Indian market. The prices of the 125cc scooter start at Rs 93,000 for the standard variant and go up to Rs 97,000. All prices are ex-showroom. In its 2023 avatar, the Burgman Street is compliant with E20 fuel (20 per cent ethanol-blended) and has the latest version of the onboard diagnostics system, also called OBD2-A. The latest OBD2-A diagnostic port is claimed to detect system failures and turn on the console lights in case of any faults in the vehicle system. The updated Burgman Street remains unchanged in terms of styling and is available in two variants - Standard and Ride Connect.

The Suzuki Burgman Street gets a sharp design with apron-mounted headlight, wide-footboard, apron-integrated front turn indicators, fly-screen at the front, step-up seat, single-seat pillion grabrail, and a side-slung exhaust with heatshield. All in all, the updated scooter boasts of a maxi-scooter-inspired styling and directly rivals the Aprilia SXR 125 in terms of segment positioning.
The 2023 Burgman Street scooter is powered by the same 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, and the power is sent to the wheels through a CVT (automatic). The 124cc engine is good enough for producing maximum power of 8.5bhp at 6,750rpm and peak torque of 10Nm at 5,500rpm.
As for its hardware, the updated Burgman Street comes with telescopic front forks and a single rear spring. For braking, the scooter has a disc brake at the front and a drum setup at the rear, along with a CBS (Combined Braking System) unit.

Besides, the company has also introduced a new colour option - Pearl Matte Shadow Green - on the Burgman Street. The new paint scheme is available on both variants of the updated scooter.
