The 2023 KTM 390 Adventure is now up for grabs across the Indian market. Priced at Rs 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom), the new model pays homage to KTM's Dakar Rally achievements, with 19 wins and 22 podiums since 2001. It is a top-of-the-line model that features spoked wheels and a fully adjustable suspension. Thanks to the new suspension setup, riders are now able to adjust the springs according to their riding styles. The bike is available in the country, alongside the existing 390 Adventure and the 390 Adventure X. Drawing inspiration from the Dakar bike, the 2023 model comes in a brand-new Rally Orange colour option and fresh Dakar Rally-inspired graphics. At this price point, the new model also gets rider's aids such as cornering and off-road ABS, motorcycle traction control, a 3D IMU, and ride modes.
2023 KTM 390 Adventure: What's new on offer?
The most important update on the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure is that it now gets upside-down front forks that are adjustable by 30 clicks each for rebound and compression. While at the rear end, the bike uses a mono-shock, which is adjustable by 20 clicks for rebound while retaining 10-step pre-load adjustability.

In addition, the bike now receives 19-inch front and 17-inch rear black anodised aluminium spoked wheels wrapped in Metzeler Tourance tyres. According to the manufacturer, the bike's off-road credentials will be improved with spoked wheels and tubeless tyres. Braking duties are performed by Brembo 'Bybre' brakes with 320mm front and 230mm rear disc brakes.

2023 KTM 390 Adventure: Powertrain & Gearbox
Under its hood, the 2023 KTM 390 Adventure bike receives a 373.27cc, single-cylinder, 4-valve, DOHC engine that comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of pumping out 42.87bhp at 9,000rpm and 37Nm of torque at 7,000rpm. There is also a slipper clutch, ride-by-wire, and off-road ABS on offer.
2023 KTM 390 Adventure: Design and Features
The newly launched KTM 390 Adventure is built around a steel trellis frame. The motorcycle features a full split LED headlamp, boomerang-shaped daytime running lights, a two-tyre seat setup, wide footpegs, a reach adjustable rear brake lever, a 2-step adjustable windshield, and an upswept exhaust.
In terms of features, the 390 Adventure bike has LED lighting and a 5.0-inch TFT screen that allows a rider to keep a tab on an odometer, trip meter, tachometer, engine temperature, fuel level, and more.
