KTM India has launched the 250 Adventure bike for the model year 2023. The adventure-tourer motorcycle is available at Rs 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom) in the Indian market. The 2023 bike is powered by a 248.76cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that conforms to OBD2 standards. Other than the mechanical upgrades, the quarter-litre bike remains unaltered. Meanwhile, the company has also updated its product lineup with the introduction of OBD2-compliant motorcycles - the 390 Duke, the RC 200 and the RC 390. The RC 390 is available at Rs 3.18 lakh. While the prices of the 390 Duke and the RC 200 stand at Rs 2.97 lakh and Rs 2.17 lakh, respectively. All prices are ex-showroom.
2023 KTM 250 Adventure: Engine and Gearbox
In terms of mechanicals, KTM is offering a single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with Bosche electronic Fi (fuel injection) system, which displaces around 248.76cc. The engine is good enough for producing 29.6bhp of maximum power at 9,000rpm and 24Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm. For handling transmission duties, the OBD2-compliant KTM 250 Adventure is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. On offer is also a slipper clutch.

2023 KTM 250 Adventure: Exterior Design
Style-wise, the updated KTM 250 Adventure carries forward the same single-pod headlamp, a short windscreen, a side-slung exhaust, and a split-style seat (855mm in height) from the outgoing version. It houses the same 14.5-litre fuel tank and rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels.

Likewise, the features of the 2023 KTM 250 Adventure also remain the same. The bike continues to get a halogen headlamp, LED DRLs (daytime running lights), an LED taillamp, and LED turn indicators. Besides, it sports a digital instrument cluster that gives you average speed, gear position indicator, and other information.

2023 KTM 250 Adventure: Suspension & Braking
The latest 250 Adventure is built around a tubular split-trellis frame and suspended with the help of 43mm inverted forks at the front and a pre-load adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking duties are performed by a 320mm single disc and a radially-mounted calliper at the front. While the rear end comes with a 230mm single rotor with a floating calliper.
Besides, the bike is equipped with a dual-channel ABS, a slipper clutch, and a 12V socket. The kerb weight of the motorcycle sits at 177kg.

The 2023 KTM 250 Adventure costs Rs 2.47 lakh (ex-showroom) in the country. It is available in 2 colour options - Factory Racing Blue and Electronic Orange.
