KTM launched the revised version of the 200 Duke in India at Rs 1.96 lakh (ex-showroom). As a part of the update, the motorcycle gets an LED headlamp, identical to the KTM 250 Duke and 390 Duke models. Aside from this, the 2023 version of the KTM 200 Duke gets two new paint schemes: Electronic Orange and Dark Silver Metallic. Design-wise, there is no significant change apart from the new headlamp. The motorcycle carries forward the muscular stance of the previous version. Apart from this, the model has also lifted the under-belly exhaust, 17-inch alloy wheels, a split-style seat, an engine cowl, a 13.4-litre fuel tank, and more from the older model. 2023 KTM 200 Duke: Engine
Mechanically, the bike is the same as the older version. For propulsion, the 2023 KTM 200 Duke continues with the 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine, which produces 24.67bhp and 19.2Nm. The motor is compatible with OBD2 and E20 fuel. Also, for transmission, it employs a six-speed gearbox.
2023 KTM 200 Duke: Hardware and Design
Hardware-wise, it gets 43mm upside-down front forks and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock as the older model. The braking system incorporates a 300mm front and 230mm rear disc brake. In addition, it gets a dual-channel ABS with supermoto mode and a side-stand engine cut-off function. The ABS on the rear wheel is disabled in supermoto mode. Similar to the previous iteration, the new motorcycle also rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels.
Coming to the design, the KTM 200 Duke 2023 receives a new LED headlight. Aside from that, the motorcycle now has two new paints: Electronic Orange and Dark Silver Metallic. Both hues use black for the chassis and orange for the alloy wheels.
