KTM has unveiled the 2023 iteration of its off-road adventure tourer, the 1290 Super Adventure S. Starting from January 2023 onwards, the new 1290 Super Adventure S will be available for sale globally.
The new 1290 Super Adventure S has been globally revealed by the Austrian marque, KTM. According to the bikemaker, the redesigned rider-focused ergonomics of the updated ADV ensure a comfortable ride over long distances.
Coming to the changes, the 2023 1290 Super Adventure S gets two new colour options - Orange with Black and Orange with Grey. The updated 1290 Super Adventure S maintains the outgoing model's muscular silhouette and features an LED headlight with integrated DRLs, a broad handlebar, a sloping fuel tank, an upswept exhaust, a raised windscreen, split-type seats, a tapered tail section, and a sleek LED taillamp.

The 2023 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S retains a V-Twin LC8 engine, which can generate a maximum power and torque output of 158bhp and 138Nm, respectively. A 6-speed gearbox with a PASC slipper clutch is in charge of the transmission. The motorcycle has multiple riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, radar-based adaptive cruise control, and disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels for rider safety. The suspension duties are handled by 48mm "WP SAT" inverted forks on the front and a "WP SAT" mono-shock unit on the rear. The manufacturer also offers additional PowerParts for the 1290 Super Adventure S.
The KTM 1290 Super Adventure S has a 7-inch TFT screen with improved navigational software. The rider can download the KTMConnect App, which is used in conjunction with the Turn by Turn+ feature. Switchgear that is mounted on the handlebar can be used to control this TFT screen.
