2023 Komaki TN 95 Electric Scooter Launched in India at Rs 1.31 Lakh

Komaki, the Japanese auto manufacturer has announced that its popular TN 95 electric scooter's newly modified 2023 edition has been rolled out for the Indian market at a starting price of Rs 1.31 lakh. Meanwhile, for the long-range variant, the buyers will have to shell out Rs 1.40 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom. Sharing his thoughts on the revised model, Gunjan Malhotra, Director - Komaki Electric Division said, "Inspired by the traditions of India, Komaki TN 95 is India's first family scooter. It is large in size, with special seating arrangements and numerous safety features that make it the safest and most advanced two-wheeler in India. Safety has always been our top priority, and the new model comes with advanced safety features and is also comfortable to ride. TN 95 has already gained much popularity in the Indian market, and I am optimistic that the upgraded 2023 model will soon become the favourite choice of Indian riders who are looking for clean and safe mobility solutions." 2023 Komaki TN 95 Electric Scooter: Battery and Range

The TN 95 electric scooter from Komaki has a 50 AMP controller and a 5,000-Watt (5kW) Hub motor that allows it to go at a peak speed of 75 to 85km/h. The automaker asserts that the lower-spec trim can travel up to 150-kilometre on a single charge cycle, while the higher-spec model is promised to go up to 180-kilometre.

In addition to having anti-skid technology, the new battery-powered two-wheeler now comes with significant improvements in the form of LiFePO4 (lithium iron phosphate) app-based smart batteries that are fire-resistant and take just 4 to 5 hours to fully charge. According to the firm, the 2023 version of the TN 95 electric scooter will have increased speed and performance as well as more storage. The LED DRL front winkers, dual LED headlamps, key fob for keyless entry, dual discs, parking aid, cruise control, footrest, and reverse assist are just a few of the important features of the updated model. Further, onboard navigation, a sound system, and Bluetooth connectivity with an on-ride call capability are also included. The e-scooter is available in two colour options- Metal Grey and Cherry Red.
