India Kawasaki Motors has recently launched the 2023 version of its popular Ninja 300 at a price tag of Rs 3.43 lakh (ex-showroom). Three colour options—Lime Green, Candy Lime Green, and Metallic Moondust Grey—are now offered on this 300cc beast. With a dash of sporty graphics, the new colour schemes are brighter and greener compared to the ones previously available. Now, the Lime Green shade resembles the Ninja 400 and the Ninja ZX-10R quite a bit. On the other hand, the Grey colour is rather stylish and modern for a Kawasaki motorcycle. In addition, the bikemaker claims that both riding dynamics, as well as performance of the new edition, have been significantly enhanced. The most important upgrade, however, is that the bike now complies with the most recent OBD guidelines. The bookings for the Ninja 300 have already started in India, with deliveries slated to begin around mid-June onwards. Let's have a closer look at the features, hardware, and mechanical details of the newly-launched model.

2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300: Hardware Details
In terms of the hardware employed, the 2023 Ninja 300 will maintain its configuration of a diamond-type frame with telescopic forks up front and a monoshock as rear suspension. Further, both wheels have petalled-disc brakes with dual-channel ABS for handling braking duties. It rides on a set of 17-inch split-spoke alloy wheels that are fitted with tubeless tyres. The Ninja 300 for 2023 also receives a heat management system for improved performance, and the Japanese manufacturer claims that the bike's exhaust has been optimised to deliver good performance and minimal noise.
2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300: Performance
The 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300 comes equipped with an eight-valve, liquid-cooled, four-stroke parallel twin 296cc DOHC engine. This unit has a fuel-injection system that produces 38.4bhp of peak power and 26.1Nm of maximum torque. The motorcycle is equipped with a 6-speed transmission and a slipper clutch.
Moreover, the dual throttle valves provide accurate intake air management, producing linear throttle response across the rpm range, much like the Ninja ZX-10R. Dual throttle valves also improve engine performance and fuel efficiency by increasing combustion efficiency. It has bigger sub-throttle valves and main throttle valves, which allow for more air to flow and improves engine performance. The motorcycle also includes fine-atomising injectors that boost combustion efficiency with droplets as small as 60μm.
2023 Kawasaki Ninja 300: Features
The 2023 Ninja 300 maintains the same feature set as its predecessor, including a dual-channel ABS, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a halogen-type headlamp, and bulb-style turn indicators.
