2023 Honda Activa 125 Launched at Rs 78,920; Is Now OBD-2 Compliant

Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India has launched the 2023 Activa 125 that meets upcoming real driving emission (RDE) norms in India. The price for the Honda Activa 2023 ranges from Rs 78,920 to Rs 88,093 (ex-showroom, New Delhi). For 2023, the scooter has undergone minor revisions, including a modification to the colour scheme. There were six colour options available for the previous generation model. Now, Honda offers the new 2023 version of the Activa 125 in five colours: Pearl Precious White with Salen Silver Metallic, Rebel Red Metallic, Heavy Gray Metallic (not available in the Drum version), Pearl Night Star Black, and Mid Night Blue Metallic. Honda has been consistently modifying its vehicles to comply with the new BS6 Phase II emissions standards, effective on April 1, 2023. 2023 Honda Activa 125: Engine & Suspension Details 

The new version of the Honda Activa 125, is powered by a 125cc PGM-FI engine that conforms to the OBD2 standards and is supported by Enhanced Smart Power (eSP). It generates 8.1bhp at 6,500rpm and 10.3Nm at 5,000rpm. Unique Honda ACG Starter, Swing Back feature, Start Solenoid, Idling Stop System, and Tumble Flow are all included with the eSP tech. Telescopic forks up front and a 3-step adjustable unit at the rear are in charge of the suspension. According to the firm, the new model features the highest ground clearance in its class. The 2023 version comes fitted with tubeless frictionless tyres.

2023 Honda Activa 125: Features 

On the feature front, the 2023 model gets the full LED headlamps, a digital-analogue instrument cluster, restyled trademark LED position lamps, a side stand with an engine inhibitor, an engine start/stop button, a passing switch, an open front glove box (new), and a two-lid fuel opening system, etc. Additionally, a Smart Key system, recently announced for the Activa 6G, is also included with the top-tier H-Smart model. The Smart Key enables remote ignition, under-seat storage, and fuel lid operation. Additionally, it makes it possible to include anti-theft and Smart Find technologies.
