The Hero Xtreme 160R was launched in July 2020 in the country, and since then, the motorcycle has seen upgrades in the form of a few design changes and additional features. And now, the Hero MotoCorp is gearing up to launch the updated Xtreme 160R for the model year 2023 in the Indian market. The launch is expected in a few weeks' time (sometime during July or August) if we go by industry reports. The latest spy images of the 2023 Xtreme 160R reveal that the refreshed model would be suspended with the help of upside-down front forks and would get a revised instrument cluster. Built around a tubular diamond frame, the 2023 model's kerb weight could go up to around 138 kilograms, making it one of the lightest bikes in the 160cc segment. Meanwhile, the mechanicals will likely be retained from the outgoing model.
