Hero MotoCorp has launched the all-new Super Splendor Xtec in India at a price of Rs 83,368 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The bike receives some cutting-edge features like an all-LED headlamp and a new digital instrument cluster.
Hero MotoCorp, India's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has launched a new Super Splendor variant with more features. The 2023 Hero Super Splendor Xtec is now available in India, with a starting price of Rs 83,368 (ex-showroom). The motorcycle has gained several features in comparison to the current Super Splendor. It has an all-LED headlamp, a digital instrument cluster, and other features. Two variants of the new Hero Super Splendor Xtec are available. The front drum brake version costs Rs 83,368, while the front disc brake version demands Rs 87,268 (both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi). The standard Super Splendor's price, in contrast, ranges from Rs 79,118 to Rs 83,248 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Let's have a quick look at what this newly launched bike has in store for buyers.

While most of the standard bike's styling has been carried over to the Xtec model, the latter also gets an LED headlight, with an LED DRL in the middle, which divides the high and low beams. Other than that, nothing has changed, and the bike still gets a single-piece seat, a grab rail, halogen turn indicators, and an overall slim build. The all-new Super Splendor Xtec, meanwhile, is now available in fresh Candy Blazing Red and Matt Axis Grey paint schemes.
Speaking of features, Bluetooth connectivity and a fully digital instrument panel are two of the most important updates that the Xtec trim gets. As a result, the Super Splendor Xtec has a new LCD, which can be connected to your smartphone for missed call/SMS alerts, along with a variety of readouts. The list comprises a speedometer, odometer, trip metre, fuel level readout, and mileage. Further, there is a USB charging port located beneath the instrument console.
In terms of hardware, the bike comes with the same telescopic front forks, dual rear springs, and a diamond frame. On the other hand, the rear drum unit now has CBS, and the front now has a disc brake (Combine Braking System). The 80/100 front and 90/90 rear tyres on the 18-inch alloy wheels are new.
In addition, Hero MotoCorp uses a new 124.7cc single-cylinder motor, which is OBD 2-compliant in the new Super Splendor. It has a five-speed gearbox and produces 10.7bhp of maximum power and 10.6Nm of peak torque. This engine should be equally economical to the Splendor trims' other engines. Moreover, the bike now receives real-world emission diagnostics rather than lab-recorded results, thanks to the OBD 2 norms.
The bike maker has set the price for the Super Splendor Xtec at Rs 83,368 for the drum brake model and Rs 87,268 for the disc brake version. Both prices are ex-showroom. In the Indian market, it competes against the Honda CB Shine and the TVS Raider.
