A little while ago, leaked documents confirmed the specifications and feature list of the upcoming 2022 KTM RC390. Also, a few leaked images gave us an idea of what to expect from the fourth coming RC390 in terms of styling and design. Now, KTM has officially teased the next-gen RC390 and has hinted at the global unveiling of the bike, which is likely to take place soon.
We expect KTM to unveil the next generation of the RC series of motorcycles, which include the RC390, RC200, and RC125, by sometime in September 2021, and the motorcycles are likely to go on sale in their respective markets by the final quarter.
These new generations of RC series of motorcycles will be based on an all-new platform and will have a new chassis and new engine internals. What's more, their cycle parts, such as suspension units and braking hardware, will also be all new.
The KTM RC390 is expected with a TFT screen for instrumentation, along with a few connected features that will allow the rider to pair their smartphone to the motorcycle.
Other features on the new KTM RC390 will be IMU-based traction control and cornering ABS. The motorcycle will continue with features such as a two-way quick-shifter and slipper clutch.
The outgoing KTM RC390 carries a priced tag of Rs 2.77 lakh (ex-showroom). The new generation model is likely to be closer to the Rs 3 lakh (ex-showroom) mark.
