The Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX which has been positioned in a segment of its own, now features a minor update. While the motorcycle continues to be the same mechanically, the 2022 Ninja 1000SX gets new colour options.

Other than the change in colour, the Ninja 1000SX stays exactly the same. The motorcycle continues with its 1,043cc in-line four-cylinder motor which churns out 140bhp and 111Nm. The gearbox is a six-speed unit which is equipped with a two-way quick-shifter and a slip & assist clutch.
The Ninja 1000SX has six-axis IMU-based traction control and cornering ABS. The motorcycle also features multiple rider and power modes as well. Other features include cruise control, all-LED headlamps, a 4.3-inch TFT instrument cluster. Kawasaki also offers a Rideology App which allows the rider to sync his/her smartphone to the instrument cluster.
The suspension units are the same as before. The braking hardware is carried forward as well. The Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX is positioned in a segment of its own. The sports-tourer does not have a direct rival in the segment.
