Indian Motorcycle has dropped the wraps on the limited-edition Elite trims of the 2022 Challenger and Chieftain baggers in the international markets. Both the motorcycles now come with a host of additional elements over their standard counterparts.
Apart from the changes in cosmetics, the Elite models now come with a host of electronic features like electronically adjustable rear suspension allowing preload changes as per the load being carried. It also comprises Indian’s Smart Lean technology for better control while cornering. Moreover, there’s an adaptive LED headlight, optional floorboards, heated grips, and an adjustable windscreen.
The list doesn’t end there. The new Elite models will also come with a 400W PowerBand audio system including saddlebag speakers to take the party where you go. In addition to this, the motorcycles get ABS, keyless ignition, tyre pressure monitoring, and remote-locking saddlebags as standard. Interestingly, now even the Chieftain Elite is equally packing.
The Indian Chieftain Elite comes with an adaptive LED headlight, tinted windscreen, large footboards, saddlebag LEDs, and a 400W PowerBand audio system, similar to the Challenger. Other notable equipment includes a seven-inch TFT display, ABS, keyless ignition, a tire pressure monitoring system, and 68-litre saddlebags.
In terms of powerplants, the Challenger gets a 122bhp, 1,768cc, V-twin, PowerPlus engine, the Chieftain rides on a bigger, 1,901, Thunderstroke 116 mill. Both the motorcycles come with three riding models to suit different riding styles.
