Harley-Davidson’s flagship adventure-tourer now gets minor tweaks. Also, the American motorcycle brand is all set to introduce an all-new motorcycle on January 26th.
The Pan America 1250 has received minor updates for the year 2022. Harley-Davidson has optimised the instrument cluster layout which makes it easier for the riders to read the essential read-outs. Also, the big adventure motorcycle features a hill-hold assist. The system essentially grabs the brakes of the motorcycles in case the rider stalls it and does not let the Pan America rollback on an incline. However, the system only holds the motorcycle for 10 seconds in the outgoing model, but Harley-Davidson has updated the hill-hold system to assist for 3-5 minutes.
The 2022 Pan America now gets a new colour option as well. The colour scheme is called Fastback Blue with White Sand which offers blue paint on the fuel tank and white on the headlamp cowl.
Other than the aforementioned updates, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 does feature any change. The design language is the same as before, and so are all the mechanicals. The engine is the same 150bhp and 128Nm, 1,252cc V-twin engine paired to a six-speed transmission. The electronic suit is the same as the outgoing model.
The updated Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 will be launched in India most likely by mid-2022. When launched, the 2022 Pan America is likely to see a price increase of Rs 15,000-25,000. Currently, the Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 is priced from Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom). The top-spec Pan America 1250 Special is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
