2021 Suzuki Hayabusa, was launched in India on April 26, and within two days of the debut of the 3rd gen superbike, the first batch was sold out. The Hayabusa is sold via the CKD route and Suzuki had allotted 101 units for the first batch. All the 101 customers of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will get a complimentary rear-seat cowl with the motorcycle. The deliveries of the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa will commence sometime in the month of May. The second batch is expected to arrive soon, however, there is no official comment from the manufacturer regarding the same. The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is launched at a price of Rs 16.40 lakh ex-showroom, however, there is a possibility that the second batch of the superbike could be dearer by a few thousand rupees.
The 3rd gen Suzuki Hayabusa gets a heavily revised 1,340cc in-line four-cylinder engine that is Euro 5 (& BS6) compliant. The gearbox is a 6-speed unit that also gets a two-way quick shifter. The new ‘Busa is capable of darting to 100km/hr from a standstill in 3.2 seconds – that’s two-tenth of a second faster. Top speed continues to be electronically limited to 299km/h. Suzuki has also equipped the ‘Busa with IMU-based electronics and there’s also a new TFT display with automatic brightness adjustment.
