A new Big Wing dealership, commencing the deliveries of the CBR650R and CB650R and sold out 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour. Seems like Honda two-wheelers have pulled up their socks to cater to its premium clientele.
The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour was launched in India on June 16, and now the company tells us that all the allocated units for the Indian market have been sold out. Honda confirms that all the 2021 Gold Wing Tour units were booked within 24 hours of its launch. Honda two-wheelers India haven’t disclosed the number of units sold. The next batch of Gold Wing Tour is expected sometime around the festive season and the second round of bookings shall commence in the coming months.
The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour has been priced at Rs 37.20 lakh, but that will get you the manual version. The seven-speed dual-clutch automatic variant (with airbag) has been priced at Rs 39.16 lakh. Both the prices are ex-showroom.
Gold Wing Tour is powered by a 1,833cc liquid-cooled flat-six engine that puts out 124.7bhp at 5,500rpm and 170Nm of torque at 4,500rpm. The manual model comes with a six-speed transmission and the automatic variant gets a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
The feature list includes a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, Honda Smart Key, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, two USB Type-C ports, an updated audio system with lighter speakers, an integrated sat-nav, and an electric windscreen.
The 2021 Honda Gold Wing Tour will be sold via the CBU route, at Honda’s Big Wing dealerships in Gurugram, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Indore, and Kochi. The deliveries are expected by the month of August.
In other news, Honda Two-wheelers India has recently inaugurated a new Big Wing dealership in Navi Mumbai. The BS6 Honda CBR 650R and the Honda CB650R that were launched earlier this year have started reaching their respective customers. The deliveries began earlier this week with the first 15 motorcycles delivered from Big Wing Dealership in Mumbai.
