Following the Aprilia RS660 and the Tuono 660, the cutting edge machinery RSV4 and the Tuono V4 are expected to be launched in India soon, along with its respective Factory versions
The 2021 Aprilia RSV4 broke cover in January this year and the 2021 RSV4 Factory was unveiled in March. Both the Supersports have already been listed on the manufacturer’s official India website. The 2021 Tuono V4 and the Tuono V4 Factory that were showcased early this year have been listed on the official Aprilia India website as well. This hints at an early India launch of the four aforementioned Italian motorcycles.
Currently, Aprilia India has 2021 the RS660 and the Tuono 660 in its portfolio. The addition of the 2021 RSV4, RSV4 Factory, Tuono V4, and the Tuono V4 Factory will make a total of six motorcycles in its portfolio, along with six scooters.
The 2021 Aprilia RSV4 gets a marginally bigger engine that is Euro 5 compliant (BS6) compliant. The displacement is up to 1,099cc from 1,078cc. The chassis that houses the V4 engine has been reworked too. The swingarm is lighter and the overall ergonomics have been revised as well. The Tuono V4 gets a 1,077cc V4 and pumps out 174.5bhp and 121Nm of torque. The chassis and other mechanical components have been revised for the 2021 model year as well, in turn, it has resulted in lighter cycle parts and mechanical components.
Both the motorcycles get extensive electronic aids and features. The Factory versions of the RSV4 and the Tuono get uprated semi-active electronic suspension units. The RSV4 Factory also gets forged wheels and upgraded brakes.
