With the launch of the Gixxer SF 250, Suzuki has also introduced the 2019 Gixxer SF with a bunch of styling changes and feature upgrades.
The 2019 Suzuki Gixxer SF has been launched at ₹ 1.09 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi), which has made it dearer by about ₹ 18,000 than its predecessor, which was priced at about ₹ 91,000. While it retains the mechanical specs (including the engine) of its predecessor, it borrows styling from its new and elder sibling, the Gixxer SF 250.
New on the 2019 Gixxer SF is a revised front fairing, which now houses a new, sharper-looking LED headlight unit (which gives it all-LED lighting). Further, the 2019 Gixxer SF also borrows the SF 250's new clip-on handlebar and split-seat configuration. These elements will definitely add to the Gixxer SF's sportier character and riding dynamics. While the instrument display was already fully-digital unit, it has been tweaked a bit for the 2019 version, the most prominent change being that it now comes with a white back-light instead of amber. Ditching the earlier model's MotoGP-inspired colour scheme, the 2019 Gixxer SF is available in just two colour options: Glass Sparkle Black and Metallic Sonic Silver.
As mentioned before, the 2019 Gixxer SF carries over the mechanical specs from its predecessor, meaning that it continues to be powered by the same 154.9cc, single-cylinder air-cooled unit which develops 13.9bhp and 14Nm of torque. The power output has gone down a bit, compared to the 2018 version's 14.6bhp. Other components like the suspension and brakes also continue to be the same, along with the single-channel ABS. The 5-speed gearbox also remains identical.
