German carmaker Volkswagen will hike the prices of its vehicles by up to 2 percent from 1st October, 2022 onwards. The hike in prices is being attributed to a rise in input costs. The hike comes just ahead of the festive season in India, which generally sees a rise in the sales of cars in India.

The Volkswagen Taigun has undergone a price hike, but that’s not all. Volkswagen has also made a bunch of important features standard on the Taigun which have increased the overall fuel efficiency of its smaller 1.0 TSI engine, among other things.

The MQB-A0-IN-based Volkswagen Taigun will be launched in India on September 23 i.e tomorrow. If the German carmaker manages to price it right, the new Taigun could be the new popular choice of the mid-size SUV buyers.
