Based on the company's modular TNGA-K platform, the new Vellfire weighs less than the previous model. With a 3,000mm wheelbase, its dimensions are 4,995mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,950mm in height. In comparison to the former version, the width, and wheelbase have not changed, but the height and length have grown by 50 and 60mm, respectively.
The new Vellfire and the departing model continue to have a similar appearance. With split headlamps on either side, the massive six-slat grille features the Toyota emblem in the center. LED daytime running lamps are housed in the bottom section of the headlamps, and a U-shaped chrome strip connects the two headlamps across the bumper. The Vellfire's glasshouse has been simplified into a single unit with a noticeable bend and blacked-out pillars that have a chrome outline. It receives a recognisable V-shaped tail-lamp enclosure with plenty of chrome accents and distinct Vellfire badging.
