Toyota Vellfire MPV Waiting Period Extends up to 10 Months in India
The Hi-Grade, and the VIP Grade, are the two variants of the newly-launched Toyota Vellfire MPV, priced at Rs 1.20 crore, and Rs 1.30 crore, respectively. Both are ex-showroom prices.
Toyota recently launched the 2023 Vellfire, a luxury MPV, in the country in two variants –the Hi-Grade and the VIP Grade, priced at Rs 1.20 crore and Rs 1.30 crore, respectively. All figures are ex-showroom. This new multipurpose vehicle from Toyota is powered by a 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol-hybrid engine, which produces 190bhp and 240Nm and is mated to an e-CVT, and offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 19.28 km/l. The luxury vehicle, despite its high price, has been generating a tremendous response from customers in the nation, which is quite evident from the fact that it has a waiting period of up to 10 months from the date of booking. Toyota Vellfire MPV: Features
For those unaware, MPVs usually come with a range of standard features such as leather seats, a high-quality sound system, a digital rearview mirror, three-zone air conditioning, and captain seats with Ottoman functions. However, the 2023 Vellfire comes with not only these features but also features such as a large touchscreen infotainment system, a moonroof, cruise control, and an automated parking brake. In terms of safety, the MPV gets traction control, ABS, brake assist, EBD, hill start assist control, and more.
Toyota Vellfire MPV: Variants & Dimensions
As mentioned earlier, the MPV is available in two variants – the Hi-Grade and VIP Grade. The top-spec VIP model comes with an Executive Lounge package. The MPV is 4,995mm in length, 1,850mm in width, and 1,950mm in height and has a 3,000mm of wheelbase. The wheelbase and width of the MPV are the same as those of the previous generation, but the height and length have increased by 50mm and 60mm, respectively. Overall, changes have been made to the Vellfire to make it sharper and sleeker than the previous version, but it still retains its boxy design.

Toyota Vellfire MPV: Price & Competition
The cost of the new model ranges between Rs 1.20 crore and Rs 1.30 crore. All prices are ex-showroom. In terms of competition, the revamped MPV has no direct rival as of now.
