Toyota Camry Exterior Details

The Toyota Camry exterior has received minor updates this year. It is a large luxury sedan offering that hails from the Toyota stables. The Toyota Camry gets a bold design with a large front grille and thin aggressive headlights. The headlights also get LED DRLs in the inner corners that pop among the Camry's understated design. With the 2022 update, the Camry gets subtle updated features. For one, Toyota has done away with a lot of the chrome on the large front air grille, and switched it out for minor chrome accents on either side of the grille on the bumper. The air intake is also larger now, and the car is shod on all new dual-tone 18-inch alloy rims. Keeping up with the front updates, the Camry has received updated taillights for design synergy.

The Toyota Camry interior remains more or less the same with updates to the infotainment system being the largest change here. The previous 8.0-inch infotainment screen has been replaced by a 9.0-inch one. The air conditioning vents have been repositions and the interior gets new trim options with beige or black with metallic accents. Overall, the interior continues with a premium feel.

The Toyota Camry engine specifications remain unchanged. Under its hood, the Toyota Camry is powered by a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder unit capable of 178 PS at 5700rpm, paired with a permanent magnet synchronous motor that adds 120PS. Hence, the Camry puts down a combined power output of 218PS. This engine is paired to a CVT automatic transmission.

The 2022 Toyota Camry gets the same features it previously did, with a few updates to the infotainment screen. The new 9.0-inch infotainment screen gets new software as well and is now compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The Camry comes loaded with features and gets a sunroof, nine-speaker JBL audio system, electrically reclining rear and fron seats, ventilated front seats, wireless charging pad for mobiles, reversing camera and more. The Toyota Camry also gets a horde of class-leading safety features, such as nine airbags to name a few.

Toyota Camry ​​​​​​​Price & Variants 

The 2022 Toyota Camry is priced in India at ₹41.7 lakhs (Ex-Showroom) and gets only a single, feature-packed variant. The Toyota Camry now gets seven colours, Metal Stream Metallic being a new one, with Silver Metallic, Graphite Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Red Mica, Attitude Black and Burning Black being continuing colours.
