Tata Harrier Engine and Other Specifications
This car comes equipped with a robust and refined powertrain, similar to its older iteration. It features a BS6-compliant 2.0-litre Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine consisting of four inline cylinders with a four-valve-per-cylinder configuration. It pumps out a maximum of 167bhp at 3750 rpm and 350 Nm peak torque at 1750-2500 rpm. With such impressive deliveries, it provides ample power for regular driving. Further, the ARAI-claimed Tata Harrier mileage is 14.63 km/l and it differs slightly in different variants.
This powerful SUV offers a six-speed automatic (TC) transmission and six-speed manual transmission options, along with bejeweled terrain mode. Further, this vehicle has been built on the OMEGARC platform derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform, as mentioned earlier.
The Tata Harrier specifications also include a tilt and telescopic steering column and a carefully tuned suspension system. The suspension setup includes an independent lower wishbone McPherson strut with coil spring and antiroll bar in the front. In the rear, it boasts a semi-independent twist blade with a Panhard rod and coil spring. Further, this Tata car incorporates 17-19-inch alloy wheels sporting 235-245mm wide tyres, depending upon the variant. The vehicle boasts all disc brakes to provide precise stopping power; a few lower variants might have rear drum brakes.
Dimensionally, this front-wheel drive car has a length of 4605mm, a width of 1922mm, and a height of 1718mm. The wheelbase of the vehicle is 2741mm and its ground clearance is 205mm. Further, the boot capacity of the vehicle is 445 litres and the fuel tank capacity is 50 litres.

One of the most noticeable aspects of the Tata Harrier Facelift is its refreshed exterior design. The dynamic exterior of this car flaunts a black front grille with chrome highlights and connected LED daytime running lights. The DRLs also have the signature welcome and goodbye attribute while the sequential turn indicators announce authoritative arrival. The car boasts LED projector headlamps and LED fog lamps, to provide optimum visibility in different light conditions. Furthermore, it exhibits diamond-cut alloy wheels with aero inserts making an impression of presence and stylish electrically foldable rear-view mirrors. The Harrier also showcases rugged roof rails, Harrier mascots on the doors, and connected LED tail lamps with welcome-goodbye animations.

The Tata Harrier interior includes a signature dashboard with mood lighting, creating an environment of opulence and style. It boasts a digital steering wheel with an illuminated brand logo and mounted controls. It also incorporates a new-gen central control panel which, being your personal command centre, keeps you focused while driving. Further, the cabin comes furnished with persona themes, ensuring a personalized and intimate living experience.
The car includes a six-way power-adjustable driver seat with memory and welcome function and a four-way power-adjustable co-driver seat. Both front seats are ventilated, to take care of your comfort along with the dual-zone automatic climate control system. Moreover, it encompasses second-row comfort headrests, a wireless charger, an air purifier, and a front armrest with cooled storage.
Tata Harrier Safety Features
On the safety front, the Tata Harrier facelift packs seven airbags, an electronic stability program, and an emergency/breakdown call feature. It also gets a tyre pressure monitoring system and an advanced driver assistance system with 11 functions. In addition, the pedigree of OMEGARC is the legendary architecture that shall also provide cocooned safety.
