The Tata Curvv EV rivals the likes of the BYD Atto 3, the Tata Nexon EV, and the Mahindra XUV400 in India. It costs between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh (both ex-showroom).
Tata Motors has commenced the bookings for the newly launched SUV-coupe - Tata Curvv EV. You can now book the electric vehicle either through the company's online portal or by visiting the nearby dealership. The booking amount is set at Rs 21,000.
The Tata Curvv EV is available in five variants – Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A. Read on to see what each variant offers:
The Tata Curvv EV is priced between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh (both, ex-showroom). It is available in five variants: Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+ S, Empowered+, and Empowered+ A.
The newly launched Tata Curvv EV locks horns with a range of models in the segment including the MG ZS EV, BYD Atto 3, and the Hyundai Kona Electric.
Following the Punch electric SUV, the Tata Curvv EV will be the second vehicle built on the Acti.ev platform. It will compete with the MG ZS EV and several upcoming models such as Hyundai Creta EV, and the Maruti Suzuki eVX.
Tata Motors has not yet revealed the Curvv.ev's specifications. It did, however, mention that the model will have a range of approximately 500 kilometers on a single charge.
The Tata Curvv's rear looks to be similar to the concept model that was displayed at this year's Auto Expo. Under the covering, its coupe roofline and somewhat tall tailgate are visible, along with angular LED taillights. The EV is expected to offer a claimed range of up to 500-kilometre.
The Tata Curvv SUV has been spotted testing for the first time on Indian roads. In India, the Tata Curvv with an electric powertrain will reportedly launch in 2024, followed by the ICE-powered variant in 2025.
